The KATO Power Pack is designed to operate N and HO scale trains with a Direct Current (DC) analog system. It's 13.5VA provide sufficient power to run multiple trains on a wide variety of exciting layout configurations. For your safety and prevention of damage to locomotives and rolling stock, the Pilot Lamp indicates short circuit or overload while the manual Reset Switch provides procedure for safe recovery.
The KATO Power Pack supports the concept of Plug & Play... just one advantage of the UNITRACK system! The UNITRACK Connection Plug secures the direction of polarity and wiring for the UNITRACK feeder track. The Side Snap-on Terminal provides the power to control Turnout Control Switches and other accessory control units.
The transistor-equipped Controller provides stable voltage to achieve the best performance of locomotives even at very low speed operation.
An Adapter Cable is included for attaching the Power Pack to other brands of track.
