The HO cars are about half the size of 1:32 cars, measuring 3 inches long x 1.25 inches wide.
The good thing about the HO scale slot cars is they take up less space than the larger 1:32 slot cars.
The layout size is 16.00' x 9.00' and the running length is 50.0 feet for the 2 lane layout in the picture.
