Mark Donohue was a race car driver with a degree in mechanical engineering from Brown University. He was known for his ability to set up his own race car and drive it consistently to the absolute limit. Monogram McLaren M6A #11 Lothar Motschenbacher 1/32 Slot Car
Can-Am racing captured the attention of auto aficionados from 1966 through 1974. Lothar Motschenbacher was one of the sport's most prolific drivers, missing only the 1973 season. In 1968 - the third year of Can Am competition - Motschenbacher drove the red #11 McLaren M6B, and finished fifth overall. Although he never won a championship during his career, Motschenbacher did establish a record of 53 consecutive race starts that endures to this day.
