This example is one of the lesser known of the Greenwood Corvettes of the era. It is actually the first of the 'customer' cars built by John Greenwood specifically for a customer, in this case being Rick Mancuso. Mancuso’s family owned a Chicago-area Chevrolet dealership and later, a high-end exotic car dealership. The car was raced by Mancuso about 1976, frequently with the Mancuso Chevy dealership sponsoring and usually with the Chicago skyline painted on the hood. Features - fully assembled and ready to race on all 1:32 scale slot car tracks, pre-painted Corvette body and driver figure, multi-color tampo printed graphics, inline front motor configuration, sliding magnet for control, high performance rubber tires and a stackable clear display case. |
