During the fuel crisis of 1976, the organizers of the endurance race at LeMans were worried. The number of competitors who had signed up for the race was way down compared to past years and so were spectator ticket sales. The call went out to John Greenwood to see if he would bring one of his crowd pleasing, brightly colored Corvettes. This car would eventually hit 215.6 mph at LeMans before retiring early with mechanical problems. Features - fully assembled and ready to race on all 1:32 scale slot car tracks, pre-painted Corvette body and driver figure, multi-color tampo printed graphics, inline front motor configuration, sliding magnet for control, high performance rubber tires and presentation box. |
