The Decoder Chip is used to convert almost any analog slot car (Ninco, Spirit, etc.) to the N-Digital system. The chip is easily mounted on the chassis with the included double sided tape and is hooked up between the guide and the motor without the need for soldering, drilling, or any other major modifications (except for the older Ninco cars that don't have the push-on motor terminals and/or cars that do not use a traditional guide/lead wire set up).

The Decoder Chip is used to convert almost any analog slot car (Ninco, Spirit, etc.) to the N-Digital system. The chip is easily mounted on the chassis with the included double sided tape and is hooked up between the guide and the motor without the need for soldering, drilling, or any other major modifications (except for the older Ninco cars that don't have the push-on motor terminals and/or cars that do not use a traditional guide/lead wire set up). The chip’s circuit board has an extra set of hook ups for cars with lights. All recently released Ninco slot cars are plug and play with this NEW decoder chip. Some Ninco cars that were released before 2008 will require the motor lead wires to be de-soldered from the motor terminals to connect the NEW decoder chip’s push-on terminals to the motor.
