The Mini Omega is the tenth model in the new Ready-to-Build Series. It is based on a design by Mike Dorffler of Estes Industries as a carrier rocket for his new Cineroc, the first commercial movie camera for model rockets. Semroc #KV-32 Centuri Marauder model rocket kit

The original Centuri Marauder was released in the 1969 Centuri catalog. It was advertised as an ideal beginner multi-stage rocket using Centuri’s “dual-lock” stage coupling, later known as the Pass-Port Staging System. It only had a three year production run, but is still remembered by many as their first two-stage rocket. It was re-leased as #KC-45 and retailed for $2.75.

Semroc #KV-41 Orion model rocket kit

The Semroc Retro-Repro Centuri Orion is very close to the original. All the nose cones are balsa like the original version. The vacuform wraps are replaced with embossed glossy card stock and balsa parts to provide for greater detailing. The parachute is reduced to 16” for less drift with the lower weight.
