OVERTAKING
With SCX Digital, it’s finally possible to overtake. Slot car racing will now be more exciting and realistic than ever. Players will be able to choose, at all times, the line that best suits them.
The test of your driving skills is now greater than ever, because you can decide when and where to change lanes, so that you can overtake your rivals.
Now, thanks to the digital technology, you can overtake on any point of the track by simply changing lanes. Just press the back button on the control to send an instruction to the car which will allow the car to change lanes.
MULTIPLAYER
There is no longer any need to wait for your turn to play SCX, now up to 6 players at a time can take part on the same 2 lane digital track.
Thanks to the digital technology, up to 6 cars driven by 6 different players can be identified on the same circuit.
RACE INFORMATION
How many laps are left? What position am I in? What’s my time? Information is the key to winning races. At all times you will have all the information on the status of the race.
Now thanks to the digital technology, constant communication exists between the cars and the system, allowing you to be fully informed at all times, on exactly how the race is going.
STATEGY
What is the best pit stop strategy? What would be the best brake set up for this track? Choosing the best strategy could be vital if you want to win the race.
Thanks to the Pit Box, the strategic dimension of the game has taken on a life of its own. Each player can personalise his car in the Pit Box before the start of the race, choosing a suitable fuel load for your pit stop strategy and regulating your brakes.
The weight of the cars will affect performance, loosing top speed when they have a full fuel tank.
BRS Overview - SCX Digital is a great choice for those who want to do any of the following: the most realistic pit stop function that is currently available on the market, prefer the simplicity of using only SCX brand cars, a track that fits well in a limited amount of space. If you really like NASCAR, Le Mans, DTM or Formula One series of cars and just want a nice track to race on, then SCX Digital is a great choice. The SCX Digital is only compatible with select SCX slot cars and tuning of the cars is limited to changing the gears, wheels and tires as the digital chip is not made to handle faster motors. SCX Digital is also a good choice for someone who doesn’t already have a lot of 1/32 slot cars that they want to race with.
